Light to moderate rain in parts of UP

Light to moderate rain occurred at isolated places over eastern Uttar Pradesh but weather remained mainly dry over western region of the state.
The MeT office here said that the maximum amount of rainfall recorded was at Churk (1 cm).
Day temperatures rose in Moradabad, Meerut divisions and changed a little in the remaining divisions of the state.
Agra, Meerut divisions saw markedly below normal temperature, Moradabad, Kanpur, Bareilly divisions appreciably below normal, Lucknow, Jhansi divisions below normal, and it was normal in remaining divisions.
The highest maximum temperature recorded in the state was at 43.8 degrees Celsius in Etawah.

The weatherman has forecast rain or thundershowers at some isolated places over western UP and a mainly dry weather over eastern region of the state for tomorrow.
