Light to moderate rainfall lashes parts of Bihar

Light to moderate rainfall occurred at few places over north-west and north-east regions of Bihar today, according to MeT department.
Bhagalpur recorded 4.4 mm rainfall followed by Purnea at 2.1 mm, while Gaya and other places experienced light drizzle, it said.
The day temperature hovered around mid-30 degree celsius in Patna, Gaya and Bhagalpur while Purnea recorded a maximum temperature of 32.8 degree Celsius.
Bhagalpur registered the highest humidity level at 84 per cent, while Purnea, Patna and Gaya saw humidity at 75 per cent, 72 per cent and 71 per cent respectively.
The weather over the next 24 hours is generally cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thunder, they said.
