Light to moderate rains lash Raj

Monsoon remained active over parts of Rajasthan as the state received light to moderate rains during past 24 hours, the MeT department said.
Few places received heavy to very rainfall and normal life took a hit in Baran due to heavy showers.
Anta recorded 34 cms rains since yesterday, while Baran and Magrole recorded 19 and 15 cms rainfall.
Light to moderate rains occurred at most places in Udaipur, Kota, Ajmer divisions, and at few places in Jaipur and Bharatpur divisions.
Kishanganj, Nagar fort and Tonk received 14, 13 and 12 cms of rainfall.
Capital Jaipur also received scattered rains today.

The MeT department has issued warning of heavy rainfall at a few places in south Rajasthan during the next 48 hours.
