Lightning claims two lives in Jhalawar

Two women died today in two separate case of lightning strike in Rajasthan's Jhalawar district today, the police said.
Both the deceased were working in agriculture fields when the incidents took place, officials said.
Bhulibai Lodha (26) of Prathvipura village was killed on the spot after lightning struck her today noon while she was working in a field, said SHO, Ghatoli police station, Sardar Khan.
The woman was rushed to nearby government hospital where the doctors declared her brought dead, the SHO said.
In a similar incident, a 25-year-old woman identified as Prembai, a resident of Devkadar village under the same police station died after lightning struck, the SHO said.

Moderate to heavy rains on Tuesday lashed parts of the Jhalawar district and continued till evening.
On Monday also lightning had claimed three lives including two women in Jhalawar and Baran districts of Rajasthan.
