The 'Lollipop' hitmaker, 31, had recently declared that his upcoming 11th album would be his last solo effort, reported Contactmusic.
"This year, not only will I be dropping Tha Carter V, but I'm dropping two albums. Be looking forward to two albums, two albums from me because, I been out the game for a second (sic)," he said.
Wayne said that he has recorded enough tracks to fill a slew of albums, so he is planning to make the project in multiple parts.
The singer also plans to continue making guest appearances on other artists' tracks once he retires from his solo career and wants to focus on running his own label, Young Money Entertainment.
