The period drama, to be directed by Peter Farrelly, also features Mahershala Ali and Viggo Mortensen, reported Variety.
The film follows an Italian-American bouncer (Mortensen) who in 1962 is hired to drive Dr. Don Shirley (Ali), one of the world famous jazz pianist, on a concert tour from New York City through the pre-Civil Rights era Deep South.
Farrelly wrote the script, along with Nick Vallelonga and Brian Currie.
The project will be produced by Jim Burke, Charles Wessler and Farrelly along with Vallelonga and Currie.
