Linseed oil recovers on renewed demand

Linseed oil prices recovered marginally at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on renewed demand from paint and allied industries.
Refined palmolein also edged up owing to sustained demand from retailers.
While, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial slipped following subdued demand from soap and shippers industries.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil ruled steady in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.
In the non-edible section, linseeds oil regained by Rs 10 per 10kg to Rs 790 from Monday's close of Rs 780.
However, castorseeds bold fell by Rs 75 per 100kg to Rs 4,710 as against Rs 4,785 yesterday and castoroil commercial moved down by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 982 from Rs 987.

Moving to edible segment, refined palmolein inched up by Rs 555 per 10kg and groundnut oil closed unchanged at Rs 1,020 per 10kg.
