Moving to edible section, refined palmolein inched down by a rupee per 10 kg to Rs 624. Groundnutoil closed unchanged at Rs 1,220 per 10 kg.
Turning to futures, castorseeds for the September contract opened higher at Rs 4,600 and shot up further to end at Rs 4,685 as compared to Rs 4,565 previously, showing a smart gain of Rs 120 per tonne.
