dead in Tulsishyam forest range in the eastern division of Gir forest and the post-mortem conducted later revealed that it succumbed to pneumonia, a forest official said.
"The patrolling staff of the forest department found the cub at Dhari-Khambha yesterday and took it to a nearby veterinary hospital for a post-morterm," District Forest Officer at Amreli, C P Ranparia, said.
"The post morterm report revealed that this 30-days-old female cub had died of pneumonia," he added.
