A 20-year old youth, walking on rail track near Shoghi, 14km from here, was run over by a train as he was listening to music on earphone and could not hear the sound of the whistle of the approaching train, police said.
The youth, identified as Sanjay Sharma, a student of Industrial Training Institute, was returning home when he was hit by a toy train on Shimla-Kalka section, police said.
