Two loaders have been apprehended for allegedly stealing over USD 100 currency from the registered baggage of a passenger at the Delhi airport.
Officials said the incident was reported yesterday at the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport when CISF officials intercepted the duo, identified as Deepak Kumar and Mahesh Soni, when they were exiting from the terminal area.
They said Kumar was frisked and USD 120 was recovered from him which he allegedly stole from the baggage of an incoming flight from Nepal.
Officials added Soni told them that he too had taken out three gold bangles from the baggage of the same airline but later put it back fearing he might get caught.
"Both of them have been handed over to Delhi police," they said.
