Rakesh Jalota, his wife Poonam Jalota and son Vivek were arrested for the death of his daughter-in-law Neha, who allegedly committed suicide over demands for dowry, Phagwara SHO, Inspector Ravinder Singh said.
Neha was found hanging at her in-laws' house in Vishwakarma Nagar yesterday, and her father Kishan Kumar Arora of Jalandhar had lodged a complaint against the Jalotas, the inspector said.
Himmant Jalota, Neha's brother-in-law, has not yet been arrested, but has been booked, the officer said.
