Locals block highway, demand booking of 3 more in murder case

Infuriated locals today blocked the Delhi-Saharanpur highway for three hours with the body Sanjay Yadav, who was stabbed to death by a owner of a DJ group, at Loni here, police said.
The victim was allegedly stabbed over 10 times by his neighbour Pradeep at a marriage party on Friday night over an old enmity.
"The kin of the deceased claimed that Pradeep was not the only one involved in the incident and demanded registration of cases against three more persons," DSP Kant Prajapati said.
On the complaint of the victim's father, Ratilal, the police have booked Prashant and Rahul, the DSP said.

To press their demand family members along with locals blocked the highway for three hours, he said, adding the road was cleared after they were assured early action.
