"We wish to inform you that the Managing Committee of the Karnataka State Cricket Association at its emergent Managing committee meeting held on 22nd July, 2016 at 2 PM resolved to postpone the Annual General Meeting and the elections to the Managing Committee scheduled to be held on Sunday, the 7th of August, 2016," Karnataka State Cricket Association Official spokesperson Vinay Mruthyunjaya said in a statement here.
The Lodha Committee had sent the directive to all BCCI office-bearers -- including President Anurag Thakur, secretary Ajay Shirke, treasurer Aniruddh Chaudhary and joint secretary Amitabh Chaudhary.
The directive effectively meant that Cricket Association of Bengal elections, which were supposed to be held on July 31, stood frozen along with Karnataka State Cricket Association polls.
Similarly, Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association election held on July 19, which saw state minister Imran Raza Ansari being elected as president, stood null and void.
