Logistics provider Gojavas today said it has set a target to double its presence to 200 cities in the country by March next year, besides exploring geographies like the Middle East to make a foray in global logistics space in the e-commerce sector.
"We have set a target to expand to 100 more cities in the next six to seven months after recently expanding our capacity to handle 50,000 packages a day," Vijay Ghadge, COO, Gojavas said.
The company has presence in about 100 cities at present.
Ghade said the logistics company, which enjoys "25 to 30 per cent of the present domestic about Rs 600 crore market size in logistics sector in e-commerce space", is evaluating the scope for expansion in some five to six geographies including the Middle East, Asia Pacific and South Asia.
He said the company in just three years after its launch has been able to provide several innovative products, including perhaps "first of its kind" GoOpen service where customers can try lifestyle products and buy the product only if they are satisfied.
"It is the first company to offer order tracking facility on android phones," he said adding services have been made customer-friendly by the 'new-age' logistics company.
Some of the innovative services that the company is providing are GoRupiah where customers get instant cash refund of their returns right at customer's doorstep. In GoRet, customer have the flexibility to return partial or full order immediately on delivery if they wish to do so. GoTrack allows move-by-move tracking of goods on real-time Google maps.
