Two clerks namely Indresh Khillari and Inder Dabi, who were posted in the co-operative department allegedly demanded Rs 15,000 for getting work done quickly and took Rs 5,000 as advance from a complainant, Lokayukta Superintendent of Police Arun Mishra told reporters here today.
Allegedly they had asked for a bribe from Deepak Gurjar to register a society called Atharva Sahkari Sakh Sanstha at Loknayak Nagar here.
Acting on the complaint, the Lokayukta police laid a trap and caught Dabi red-handed, the moment he took money from the complainant on Khillari's instructions.
Junior engineer K C Mahajan and contractor Rahul Rathore allegedly demanded a Rs 50,000 bribe from farmer Lalji Mali to set up a transformer in Ralayta village near Gautampura in Indore district, Mishra said.

Mahajan had already taken Rs 5,000 from Mali and he was caught red handed while taking the second installment and handing it over to Kothari, Mishra said.
In yet another incident, a patwari, posted in Jhabua district's Petlawad tehsil, Somsingh Dabar was caught red- handed for accepting Rs 2,000 as bribe from a tribal, Rama Bheel of Kasia Khali village for providing him papers related to his agriculture land, Mishra said.
Cases under relevant sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act were registered against the accused officials, he said.
