Following a complaint by social activist Anil Galgali against the six contractors, Lokayukta M L Tahaliyani has also called city's civic chief and police commissioner for the hearing into the matter.
Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) Commissioner, Mumbai Police Commissioner and officials of the Azad Maidan police station have been called by 12.45 PM tomorrow for the hearing at the Lokayukta's office, a senior official attached to the Maharashtra Lokayukta said today.
According to the official, this is the first round of hearing into the alleged scam.
Last week, Tahaliyani has ordered a probe into contracts awarded by MCGM to the six firms -- KR Constructions, RPS Infraprojects, Mahavir Infrastructure, J Kumar Works, Relcon Infraprojects and RK Madhani Works.

A similar complaint has also been lodged by MCGM Leader of Opposition Pravin Chheda and the Lokayukta office has clubbed both the complaints.
The MCGM had filed a police complaint in April last year against the six companies for their alleged involvement in the Rs 352 crore scam.
Galgali said, "I have demanded Lokayukta to get factual reports from the Municipal Commissioner himself for the works happening at the Hackock, Yari Road, Mithi River and Vikroli flyover and the tendering process of Goregaon Mulund link road."
"Also, the Lokayukta should suo-motu initiate action against these 6 contractors and civic officials (in connection with the alleged scam)," Galgali demanded.
Galgali in his complaint had alleged that MCGM was hand in gloves with these firms by awarding them frequent tenders.
