Loksatta editor Girish Kuber honoured with S M Garge award

The state-level S M Garge journalism award was presented to editor of Loksatta newspaper Girish Kuber here today.
NCP chief Sharad Pawar, who was present for the function, said, "Such is the power of editorial and journalism that it can change the government."
District guardian minister Pankaja Munde, MP Rajni Patil, MLC Dhananjay Munde, were among those present for the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Kuber said, "Journalism in Marathwada region become strong due to the likes of S M Garge, Narhar Kurundakar, Anant Bhalerao. Intellectual power is the real power of media.
