Indian High Commissioner Jaimini Bhagwati inaugurated the event that includes stalls of various tea, coffee and spices companies from India.

One of the major draws is the Indian food being offered from various parts of the country.

Attired in traditional dress, dancers from the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan performed Bharat Natyam, while east London-based entertainment group 'Virsa Punjab' set foots tapping with their Bhangra number.

One of the stalls showcased Indian wines that are increasingly making inroads in the western market.

An initiative of the Tea Board of India, the event's aim is to promote Indian tea alongside Coffee, spices and agricultural products, on the eve of the London Olympics 2012 and raising a toast to the spirit of the Games.

Officials from the Ministry of Commerce and other departments are here for the event.
