Lone female candidate in WBJEEB medical entrance exam top 10

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) released its result for the medical entrance examination, 2016 today in which only one female candidate figured in the top ten list.
Chandrachur Mondal, a resident of Salt Lake and a student of Aurobindo Institute of Education, topped the merit list which featured 12,183 names out of the 54,889 candidates who took the test.
There was only one female candidate in the top 10.
