Lok Sabha was adjourned for 15 minutes today after Telugu Desam Party (TDP) members demanded that Home Minister Rajnath Singh speak on the Andhra issue and created ruckus in the House.
As Singh was speaking in favour of the no-confidence motion, TDP members started walking towards him demanding that he also address the issues related to Andhra Pradesh.
The no-confidence motion was introduced by the TDP against the Modi government for "failing" to give Special Status Category to the state.
There was also an alteraction between members of the BJP and the TDP.
BJP members Anurag Thakur and Kirit Somaiya and TDP's Jayadev Galla intervened and tried to calm down the situation.
With the TDP members threatening to sit in the Well, Speaker Sumitra Mahajan adjourned the house at 4.15 pm for 15 minutes.
It was the second adjournment today in Lok Sabha, which was debating the motion of no-confidence against the government.
