Lok Sabha Secretariat said that it is also pressing additional vehicles to ensure "smooth and hassle" free transport facilities to the MPs.
"Lok Sabha Secretariat has engaged additional vehicles in the morning of April 26, 2016 for ferrying MPs from their residences to the Parliament.
"Lok Sabha Secretariat is pressing additional vehicles so as to ensure smooth and hassle free transport facilities to Members of Parliament," an official statement said.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's pet odd-even scheme came for a scathing attack in Parliament yesterday with some members alleging it would "generate corruption" and was aimed at "insulting" MPs as they sought exemption from the scheme to attend Parliament.

The statement said that the eighth Session of 16th Lok Sabha commenced from April 25 and is scheduled to go on till May 13, 2016.
During the session period, transport desk, which manages transport requirement of MPs have been receiving approximately 450 to 550 messages daily from MPs for picking and dropping them from their residences to Parliament House.
"DTC made available six low floor AC buses to the Lok Sabha Secretariat for extending transport services to MPs.
"The DTC buses, however, could not gain entry in the Parliament Complex on account of the security gadgets installed at various places in Parliament House Estate and could not provide transport facilities to Members. The buses were, accordingly released and returned to DTC authorities," the statement said.
