Lucknow zoo director transferred

The director of Lucknow Zoological Garden, Renu Singh, was today transferred in the wake of death of 20 black bucks within a month.
Chief Forest Conservator Rupak Dey said Singh had been posted at the forestry training centre in Kanpur.
Anupam Gupta from the forest research centre in Kanpur would replace Singh as director of the zoo, he said.
