Luminous to utilise innovation, manufacturing of Schneider

Power back-up solution provider Luminous Power Technologies would utilise the 'innovation and manufacturing' of it is parent company -- Schneider Electric Ltd as part of foraying into the Kerala market.
Schneider Electric holds a majority stake in Mumbai-based Luminous Power Technologies.
"Under the partnership (with Schneider Electric), Luminous Power Technologies forays into the Kerala retail market with the energy efficient and range of fans and domestic wires.." Luminous Power Technologies said in a statement.
This introduction will be first foray for Luminous in the retail sector covering the home and small and medium business market segments, it said.
The electrical division of Luminous Technologies aims to appoint 5,000 new retail outlets by end 2014 in Kerala market.

"We are extremely pleased to create a strong headway into the Kerala market with a diverse range of products that target the home and SMB segments.
A high level of awareness and development in Kerala has led to the formation of large customer base (in that market)...," Luminous Power Technologies, Managing Director, Manish Pant said.
