With investments of 15 million pounds, the health care facility would serve the "niche segment" in Chennai considered the health care capital of India, LycaHealth CEO and Co-Founder, Manpreet S Gulati said.
"We have invested 17 million pounds for the Westminster Healthcare. This is our flagship facility. We already have about 50 people working with us. In the next five years, we have committed investments about 100 million pounds..", he told reporters here.
"We will be targeting the top 2-3 per cent of the population here. Chennai is the health care capital of India. After launching here, we may launch in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru if things go well (as planned)," he said.
The company eyes to break-even in "one and half years" and plans to recruit 1,000 people in five years.
The 11-storeyed Westminster Healthcare, spread across 70,000 square foot, would begin operations from June first week, he said.
