"Somehow I gain the feeling that I am with my father now in Kerala," Raisa said, adding the pioneering show was "overwhelming".
While hailing biennale co-curators Bose Krishnamachari and Rias Komu for enabling fellow Keralites have a peek at works of talent from India and abroad, Raisa found it thrilling that many people had walked past these works at the main venue Aspinwall at nearby Fort Kochi.
She said Kerala had inspired Husain even in making the film 'Gaja Gamini' in 2000, which starred Madhuri Dixit, Shah Rukh Khan and Naseeruddin Shah in the lead roles.
Raisa Husain also opened the Ghazal tribute to Malayalam musician H Mehaboob.
