Madan, Rawat in last four of snooker tournament
Press Trust of India Pune Delhi cueist Varun Madan and Laxman Rawat of Railways entered the semi-finals of the First Akshay Gohad Six Red snooker championships here today.
In the quarter-finals, Rawat ousted Pushpender Singh of Delhi 5-2, while Madan scraped past Shahbaz Khan of Petroleum Sports Promotion Board 5-4 to make it to the last four of the tournament, jointly hosted by the PYC Hindu Gymkhana and Deccan Gymkhana here today.
