Madhya Pradesh government suspends director of health services

The Madhya Pradesh government suspended the Director of Health Services Ashok Sharma, after the Lokayukta registered a case against him.
The Lokayukta submitted a chargesheet in the special court against him in the drug purchase scam case.
During the suspension period, Sharma will be attached to the State Health Directorate, Bhopal, official sources said.
The scam took place in 2007 and the Lokayukta recently got permission from the state government to prosecute Sharma in the case, sources said.
