Many of the fans, who attended the concert at Olympia venue, booed the singer and demanded a refund. The fans claimed that the singer spent just half an hour singing and the rest "talking about politics", the Ace Showbiz reported.
The show was a last-minute addition to her ongoing MDNA touring schedule and a statement by the singer said they had made "tremendous effort" to keep the ticket prices reasonable.
"The show was not billed as her full MDNA concert and tremendous effort was made to keep the ticket prices reasonable and keep them strictly for her fans. The show cost Madonna close to a million dollars to produce. She has done a handful of club dates in the past and they were never more than 45 minutes," a representative from the singer said.
Earlier, Madonna had infuriated the country's far-right National Front party leader Marine Le Pen by flashing a swastika superimposed on her face.
