The "Hung Up" hitmaker was estranged from her second child for several months at the beginning of this year, after he left her tour in December to live in the UK with his father Guy Ritchie, but they have been taking steps to repair their relationship and she took to Instagram on Thursday to share a number of posts in honour of the teenager's birthday.
In one image, which featured Rocco in the present day and also as a toddler, she wrote, "Happy Birthday Wild Child! Time waits for no one!! (sic)."
The third image Madonna shared seemed to have been taken on her recent family visit to Kenya and featured Rocco and his adopted younger brother David, nine, brandishing shields to the camera, reported Female First.
She wrote, "Happy Birthday to my First Born Son! A true Warrior with a beautiful Heart. Let the Sun shine (sic).
