The 56-year-old singer opted to spend the day in the tiny African country with son Rocco, daughters Lourdes and Mercy and her other adopted Malawian child, David Banda, at Kondanani's children home, reported the Daily Express.
The 'Material Girl' hitmaker took to her Instagram page earlier on today to share a series of heartfelt pictures of her trip so far.
In one photo, the mother-of-four can be seen sitting on a swing while her daughter pushes her. "Getting pushed around by Mercy James at Kondanani Orphanage! #livingforlove," she captioned the image.
The pop star visited the hospital to launch a new project to construct a two-storey, 50-bed paediatric surgery and intensive care unit.
"I'm happy to be associated with the future of your beautiful country," Madonna said.
