This marked an increase of Rs 140.83 crore over the Rs 386.11 crore revenue during the corresponding period in 2013-14 fiscal, Divisional Railway Manager A K Rastogi said at the Republic Day celebrations here today.
Passenger traffic alone accounted for Rs 308.04 crore of the revenue, he said attributing the growth to introduction of new initiatives, including trains and augmentation of coaches.
He said the divsion had spent around Rs.Six crores for passenger amenity works at various stations during the year.
