Mafatlal Ind records Rs 32 cr sales for Holi special offer

Mafatlal Industries today said it generated a record online business of Rs 32 crore by selling 41 lakh meters of school uniform and corporate uniform fabrics on e-commerce platform in 24 hours on March 23 as part of Holi special offer.
The objective was to promote and bring all Mafatlal dealers and retailers to online sales mode through the Mafatlal online app also available on mobile phones, a statement issued here said.
Mafatlal Industries, the flagship company of Arvind Mafatlal Group, will close this financial year with a sales turnover of around Rs 1,250 crore, of which the school uniform and corporate uniform divisions are expected to contribute Rs 540 crore, the release said.

AAI pays Rs 761 crore annual dividend to government
* Airports Authority of India (AAI) has paid a total dividend of Rs 761.21 crore for the last financial year to the government.
The airports operator recorded a turnover of Rs 10,825 crore while the profit after tax stood at Rs 2,537 crore in 2015-16.
In a release today, AAI said it has paid a dividend of Rs 761.21 crore for the last fiscal to the government.
AAI Chairman Guruprasad Mohapatra presented a cheque of Rs 482.21 crore as final dividend to Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju on Monday.
