Magnum Sea Foods wins National Award as best medium Enterprise

Leading Seafood processing and export firm Magnum Sea Foods Limited has been honoured with the First Prize as the best Medium Scale Industry in the country for the year 2013-14.
The Award was received by Chairman of the Magnum Group, Ramesh Mahapatra from Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a function held at Punjab National University in Ludhiana on October 18, a press release said today.
The award was presented in the presence of Union Minister for MSME, Kalraj Mishra, other Union Ministers and a host of dignitaries.
Magnum Sea Foods Limited has brought laurels to Odisha being adjudged the best Medium Scale Industry in the Country by the union Government.

Mahapatra in a statement has congratulated Team Magnum for the excellent team work in taking the companies to greater heights and bagging the 1st Prize in the National Award.
Magnum Group headed by its Chairman Ramesh Mahapatra and Vice Chairman, Geetarani Padhee have won several awards both from the Centre and from the state.

It was conferred the YES Bank SME Award as the Best Medium Scale Unit in CSR activity for 2012. It also received the Best Medium Scale Industry Award from the Government of Odisha in the year 2014, the release said.
It has received several Export Awards from the Department of Export Promotion and Marketing.

Other group companies have also been honoured with a number of awards over the years in recognition of their excellence and contributions.
