"All the state leaders of BJP, along with city police, SPG personnel and government officials have visited the stadium to oversee the arrangements being done there. We are working hard to ensure that this (oath taking) ceremony turns out to be a historic programme," BJP city unit chief Ashish Shelar told reporters here.
He added that BJP has chosen the sprawling stadium because of its capacity to house around 60,000 people and that the party wants to accommodate maximum people for the event.
BJP has convened a meeting of the newly-elected MLAs tomorrow to elect leader of its legislature party, who will be its chief minister, in the presence of party observers Union Home minister Rajnath Singh and party General Secretary J P Nadda.
Incumbent state unit chief Devendra Fadnavis is said to be in reckoning to don the mantle of BJP's first chief minister in the state.

Post the meet, the party is expected to stake claim to form government with the Governor.
