"We can sit together and resolve things if they feel there is any lack of coordination," he told reporters, adding that he has written to state NCP chief Madhukar Pichad in this regard.
A meeting of Congress ministers, chaired by Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan, today discussed the fresh trouble in UPA following NCP's decision to pull out of the government and also the latter's complaint about poor coordination with Congress in Maharashtra where the two parties share power.
"The issues raised by the NCP basically pertain to the Centre. We have to wait and watch," sources in the know told PTI after the meeting.
Thakre said he today wrote a letter to Pichad informing him that the Congress was ready to hold monthly meetings of the coordination committee and a suitable date and time should be fixed in consultation with the chief minister and his deputy.
"Such a meeting is necessary to discuss the issues between the two parties and for better coordination. They will raise their issues and we too can inform them of our views," he said.
"For the last few years there has been no coordination (between Congress and NCP) in Maharashtra," Union minister and senior NCP leader Praful Patel had said on Saturday after a meeting Sharad Pawar had with senior state party leaders.
