While Karnataka were runners up with 28 medals (12 gold, 11 silver and 5 bronze), Tamil Nadu finished third with 14 medals (3 gold, 7 silver and 4 bronze).
In the teams championship, Maharashtra girls won in group III and IV in swimming. While in 'boys swimming', Maharashtra won in group IV. In Group III, Karnataka won.
In the Diving events, Maharashtra made a clean sweep in girls' section winning group I, II, and III. In boys' section, SSCB made a clean sweep in all the three groups.
Sanjay C J of Karnataka who won four gold and set two new records emerged best swimmer in boys group III with 28 points.
While Sahil Gangote of Maharashtra, who also set two new records, emerged best swimmer in Group IV with 24 points.
In the girls section, Vaania Kapoor Achuthan of Karnataka, who won four gold and set two new records, collected 28 points to emerge best swimmer in group III. Anya Tyagi of Maharashtra who won two gold collected 23 points to emerge as best swimmer in group IV.
