Talking to reporters, he claimed that more than 10 lakh small investors have been hit by these schemes.
He accused officials of the Economic Offences Wing in Mumbai of deliberately dragging their feet in their investigations into these companies, choosing to arrive at a "settlement" with their owners.
He said he had submitted a list of such companies to Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan and Home Minister R R Patil but no action has been taken so far.
