Maha govt offers jobs to eight sports-persons

Maharashtra government has offered jobs to eight sports-persons, who have brought laurels to the state through their performance at the national and international level.
"The government is of the view that sports should be encouraged and a committee has been formed under Chief Secretary (Swadheen Kshatriya) to suggest measures for the same," a release quoted the Chief Minster as saying.
"The committee has selected eight sports-persons on the basis of their educational qualifications and sporting abilities and accordingly the government decided to offer jobs to them," the release said.
The eight sports-persons are: Sandeep Yadav, Kavita Raut, Omkar Otari, Ajinkya Dudhare, Puja Ghatkar, Nitin Madane, Kishori Shinde and Nitu Ingole.
