Maharashtra Chief Electoral Office has started the process of revising the electoral rolls, which will continue till July 30, an official statement said.
Applications for inclusion as well as change of address or other corrections would be accepted in the respective assembly segments at designated offices, the office of the chief electoral officer said in the statement.
The office has fixed the deadline of August 13 for clearing the applications. The data will be updated till August 16 and the final list of voters will be out on August 19.
During the period, special camps will be organised on public holidays, such as July 20, 21, 27 and 28, so that voters concerned can submit their applications with the electoral officials, the statement added.
The office of the CEO has also appealed to all the political parties to appoint their own booth-level agents to carry out maximum corrections in the voters' list.
Voters can also submit their applications online on web portal, such as- www.nvsp.in.
