"Around 27,000 hectares of land are notified under the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) and state is considering setting up an integrated industrial zone," Chavan told reporters at a press conference on the last day of the winter session of the state legislature.

He said sectors like textile, cooperation, agro and auto will be discussed threadbare in the policy.

Chavan said the state government would hold separate functions to mark the centenary of the Nagpur-based building of the state legislature and that of platinum jubilee year of state Assembly.

He said the schedule of the functions is being finalised.

Chavan announced that Nagpur will be hosting "Advantage Vidarbha" programme in early February.

On wastage of almost a week of the session due to continuous disruption of House proceedings, Chavan said, "the question should be asked to those who are responsible for this".

Chavan said the SIT probe into alleged irrigation scam can not be conducted under the 'Commission of Inquiry Act' but its terms and references will be finalised soon.
