Cultural Affairs Minister Vinod Tawde said this today while addressing a gathering on the second day of the 'Maharashtra International Travel Mart' (MITM) being held at the Bombay Convention and Exhibition Centre in suburban Goregaon in the city.
"Dadasaheb Phalke Chitranagri will be appointed as the nodal agency to give out the required permissions. The film city will also be developed as a tourist place. Dadasaheb Phalke Chitranagri and Bollywood Museum will be developed on a PPP basis and a development plan has been prepared in this regard," Tawde said.
"A list of the best places available for shooting will be soon made and all its information will be made available online," Principal Secretary, Tourism and Culture, Valsa Nair said.
"An MoU between Maharashtra and Toronto Film Commission will soon be signed to promote films that have been shot in the state," she added.
