Arti Ghorpade, Monique Gandhi, Rujuta Bhatt and Aditi Dhumatkar of the 4x100m medley team (women) of Maharashtra met the target in 4:34:50s, bettering their own timing of 4:34:59s, which was set last year.
The men's medley team of Railways, comprising Sumantanath, Sandeep Sejwal, Sajan Prakash and Aaron Agnel D'souza excelled with a record timing of 3:53:87s against the existing 3:54:76s.
While Monique Gandhi of Maharashtra won gold in 800m freestyle (women), Arun M of Karnataka grabbed the 400m individual medley (men) and Aaron Agnel D'souza of the Railways won the 200m freestyle (men).
As the competitions concluded on the third day, existing champions Karnataka is leading in the overall points tally with 146 points, followed by Maharashtra with 135 points and Railways with 107 points.
Meanwhile, in the total number of medals, Railways topped the list with 15 medals including eight gold, five silver and two bronze.
The five-day event, being participated by around 650 swimmers from across the country, will conclude here on Sunday.
