The tallest bust of Gandhi till date is ready for installation at its designated place, the Gandhi Museum's Secretary Raji Ahmed told PTI.
The bust, which is made of bronze metal and is in three pieces, has been made by a Delhi-based firm.
A team of state government officials had recently visited the national capital to approve the same, Ahmed added.
The bust -- tallest till date of Gandhi -- will have a base of 26-feet and will be installed on a pedestal, the construction of which is under process at the Gandhi Maidan, the Gandhi Museum office-bearer said, adding that the 26-tonne structure has been built at a cost of Rs 40 crores.
Gandhi's bust was set for installation on his 143rd birth anniversary on October 2 last, but got delayed due to various reasons, he said.
