Mahaveer Singhvi, who is a Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs, has been conferred the award for his exceptional performance and achievements.
Only those Chartered Accountants by qualification who are senior government officials, CMDs, CEOs, and Presidents are eligible for the award.
The Award is finalised through a three-stage selection process and the Jury this year was headed by K V Chowdary, Central Vigilance Commissioner, and comprised eminent personalities including senior government officials, leading industrialists, university heads and past presidents of ICAI.
