Maheshwari takes charge as Ghaziabad district magistrate

IAS officer Ritu Maheshwari today took charge as the new district magistrate of Ghaziabad.
Maheshwari, a 2003 batch IAS officer, had been the district magistrate of Ghazipur, Shahjahanpur, Amroha and Pilibhit.
She took charge from Chief development officer Ramesh Ranjan who was working as officiating district magistrate.
Maheshwari after taking charge said she would work towards strengthening education, health facilities, and to ensure safety of women, district information officer R B Singh told PTI.
