The company had sold 23,018 units in the same month last year, Mahindra and Mahindra said in a statement.
Domestic sales were at 24,575 units as against 22,148 units in the year-ago month, up 10.95 per cent
Exports during the month stood at 1,024 units as against 870 units in the same month last year, up 17.7 per cent, the company said.
Mahindra and Mahindra President Farm Equipment Sector Rajesh Jejurikar said: "We hope that the announcement of record production estimates for major crops, coupled with higher MSP will drive positive sentiments and boost tractor demand in this season.
