Domestic tractor sales last month increased by 47 per cent at 20,819 units as compared to 14,207 units in the year-ago month, the company said in a statement.
Exports during the month were at 898 units as against 1,126 units in the same month last year, a decline of 20 per cent, it added.
The rise in sales is due to improved sentiments owing to festive season, M&M President & Chief Executive-Farm Equipment and Two Wheeler division, Rajesh Jejurikar said.
