Justice J R Midha issued the notice to the leader asking him to respond to the plea by January 12. The plea alleged the accused has violated the bail conditions imposed by the trial court.
"Notice issued to the respondent (Singh). The reply be filed before January 12, 2015," the court said.
The court notice was issued after the police has moved seeking cancellation of Singh's bail claiming that the accused tried to influence the witnesses in the case, who are under the police protection.
Dhananjay and his wife Jagriti Singh were arrested on November 5 last year in connection with the death of their 35-year-old maid Rakhi Bhadra, a resident of West Bengal.
