Traders said increased demand from consuming industries against restricted arrivals from producing belts mainly led to the rise in maize and bajra prices.
In the national capital, maize and bajra were up by Rs 10 each to Rs 1,210-1,215 and Rs 1,210-1,215 per quintal respectively.
